Cylindrical Proximity Sensors

Azbil Model FL7M and FL7S cylindrical proximity sensors provide contactless detection of metal objects in a wide range of industrial environments. The lineup covers AC/DC 2-wire, DC 2-wire, and DC 3-wire models, with sensing distances up to 20 mm depending on the model and size.

Standard DC 2-wire models are available in polarity prewired, Quick Lock connector, and no-polarity versions, along with long-distance no-polarity and unshielded models for longer sensing ranges. DC 3-wire models add enhanced circuit protection, including surge absorption, load short circuit, and reverse connection countermeasures.

For tough applications, choose spatter-guarded models for welding, the FL7S with a built-up sensing face in a stainless steel housing for superior shock and abrasion resistance, the FL7M-A for aluminum-chip environments, or the FL7M-C with oil-resistant polyurethane cables for areas where coolant and oil cause cables to swell.
