For almost a century, Azbil has been dedicated to designing, engineering, manufacturing, and servicing control valves, positioners, accessories, and more for the most demanding industries and applications.  With a history of timeless workmanship for modern control, we

  • developed and produced Japan’s first top- and bottom-guided double-seated automatic control valves (1936).
  • commercialized the world’s first cage-style control valves (1964).
  • released the world’s first microprocessor-equipped positioner, the model SVP3000 Smart Valve Positioner (1990).
  • released Valstaff control valve maintenance system software plug-in (2004).
  • began offering valve analysis and diagnostic services (2020).

Today, our ISO 9001- and ISO14001-certified factories supply control valves to various industries all over the world.  Before leaving the factory, every valve goes through a battery of quality inspections including: radiographing tests on the casting body; hydrostatic pressure testing; seat leakage testing; air leakage testing; and general operational testing.  Chemical & Petrochemical plants, Refineries, Pulp & Paper mills, Power Generation plants, etc., all rely on Azbil control valves to optimize performance and contribute to safe and stable plant operations.  To date, Azbil control valves have been installed in over 1.2 million applications worldwide.
